Well JTK you planted the seed in my head with this...

I managed to source a couple of drawings and photos of the GRT trigger from CharlieDaTuner....Between my dad & myself we made a scale template, scribed in onto the aircraft quality alluminium. My dad is a retired engineer with a machine shop at home, he used the milling machine to get a rough shape and the hand shaped the rest with files etc.

Well enough about the technical detail....It works BRILLIANTLY!!!

Here's a couple of pics.

What I love about this whole project is that CharlieDaTuner reckons in one of his blogs that it would be impossible to try and manufacture this trigger at home....HAHAHA Boer maak 'n plan!!!

I dropped my RSV yesterday because I fiddled with the GRT trigger again and set it too light, with the result of the barrel snapping close in a rather violent manner when I least expected it and send the Gamo flying !
Careful with this fella's..

It is easy and cheap to modify a Gamo trigger. Remove the trigger blade. In the back of the trigger blade you will find a pin, 5mm in diameter. Make a slip over bush to increase the diameter to 7mm. Remove the adjustment screw, and replace with a long grub screw. Remove the spring replace with a 0,8mm diameter spring. Put it together, and you have a modified trigger, for under R30!

Farmer, I dont think producing them in bulk is a viable option as it took almost 7 hours to make...

What does the trigger action feel like afterwards? Lighter? Less creep?
