Not so sure Vincent. If Gamo go the all plastic route, it makes life difficult. On the new Gamo's with the polymer barrel, you can't do a neat barrel shortenning job. I cant even get rid of that monstrosity they call a sound moderator on the CSI camo that I bought. It's all a one piece molding. The CSI without stock is lying around my office and I can't even use it for spares on my older Gamo's. Next they'll try to make the receiver out of plastic.

The horrible thought now is that if Gamo don't lose market share in the mass market, that other budget rifle manufactures will follow suit. This will force enthusiasts away from plastic up market to metal. Not an encouraging prospect.

Nope. I can see people biting the bullet (no pun intended) and Weihrauch/Air Arms/Diana/etc taking a bigger market share.

I can see Weihrauch and Diana taking a bigger market share because they do have budget type rifles in their ranges. The HW77, 97K, 90 and AA TX and PS will still be the premium springers. We must not forget the Theobens with their gas ram models at the top end.

Imagine buying a "budget" HW or Diana!

It seems that Gamo is just using these triggers on the CFX Models. Not sure yet what they are about but I am getting a new CFX in next week where the client has taken his new trigger appart and cannot get it back together..

I will be taking it to CDT and we will both analyze it together. Should be interesting and we will get back to everyone about what we find.
Further comment on the new trigger group.
