Default Trigger Mod...Gamo CF 30

Is there some way I can modify the trigger on my CF 30 to have a smoother and shorter action. The first stage is great, but the second stage is so long before release. I am used to a fine trigger, so my accuracy suffers a bit. Cn anyone give advice, or if they can do it?

Behind the trigger is a 3mm screw. Replace it with a longer one and adjust accordingly.

All we Gamo maniaks should order our trigger mods from this USA website. Actully we should get "IMPORTER" to get us these mods:

Who of the Gamo/(and others?) owners would be interested in the GTX trigger modification for their guns? Maybe we could organise a group buy from the supplier!?

What all mods can you get for a CFX?

the trigger mod done by Charlie is quite simple. Apart from replacing the trigger with a brass one I did this mod on a CFX last year. All you need is to drill a hole tap it to 3mm and install a grub screw. The existing trigger spring is also removed as it is not needed anymore. Apart from this the internals is made smoother and lightly oiled.
The end result is a fairly light trigger with a very direct feel.

Photo showing the position of the grub screw is uploaded. It is a 4mm by 8mm screw and not a 3mm as I said before. Bit out of focus, but will give you the idea.
