    Default Field Target School

    hi all
    :1zhelp
it hit me while i was driving today,

i am new to the shooting thing and to FT. is there any "school" or some sort of help with regard to proper technique etc?

i have found a huge amount of info on the web but without the person looking and telling you how to do things it is very difficult to better yourself. i will keep doing the wrong things and changing other things to try and make things better (hope you understand)

i am not from the plaas were my dad tought me as i lighty to shoot so i just pull the trigger when the sight is on the target.

it is difficult to ask for help during a shoot as everyone is shooting in the comp.

is it possible to hold a training shoot for us new guys (i am not ashaimed to say i am new as my scores just prove it)

    Hiya Errol

Must say I've not heard of any schools around, although it sounds like a good idea.

Either way most people will let you bend their ears if you stick around after a shoot.

Best way to learn is to shoot as much as you can though. Are you coming through to Leeukop this weekend?

Look at the pro's.If they do something it is because they jnow better than us.Does not hurt to ask questions while you shoot either.

After attending the camp 10.9 shoot Spyker and I started planning to have a training session for FT. We are still busy with the planning and will let you know as soon as everything has been finalised.

If it's convenient for people I don't mind giving advice / help when I am back in SA in late May - early June.
