    Default Scope Manufacturing defects?

Please see pictures of my newly acquired NS Platinum 4-16x50. Are these defects/marks a common sight in NS scopes? The scope seems to work fine. Should I return it?

Those appear to be anti tamper seals over locking screws, and while slightly untidy are probably normal.

BTW could you reduce your image size - they seem a touch wide!!
