How does the spring come out with so little trouble.I would have thought that it would be a tight squeeze .

no...it is under very little preload making the TX200 and clones very easy to strip and tune...

When I took out the broken spring from my Gamo CF30, and removed the last turn, it was easy to put back again, Sommer met die hand. Today, with the new spring I had to use the car jack to compress the bunch into its place. Lack of hands to help....

As Guido says the TX200 requires very little preloading on the spring so it is a delight to strip (unlike the FWB Sport's of old). Don't know about the B40 have not seen one of them yet.
