    My opinion,

    10m=HW50S
    15m=Pro-Sport/TX200/HW97
    25m= " / " / "

    But I'm new at BR, would like to hear the pro's, Nick, Nat, Paul.

    So the pimped Hatsan M80 would work fine for 10m but not really for the others?

    I would say a HW50s is a target quality springer as well. dunno where one would draw the line though.

    JTK, It is a neck-break not a under lever that is were the line is draw.

    aaa thanks. but that would then put a HW98 as a breakneck as well right?

    Yes that's pretty much getting to the answer.
    As I understand it then one could use something like the HW98 for all three, but the HW97 would only be allowed for the second two.

    Bottom line it is still the shooter that must shoot the score and benchrest with a springer is not easy.

    David, ek is so nuut soos jy - definitief nie 'n pro nie, maar jy verwys seker na iemand anders. Ek leer nog van BR - hopelik gaan daar onder hierdie seksie baie wees om te leer!

    I would DEFINITELY swap the HW50s for an HW30s for the 10 and 15m event

    Guido I agree. The Weirauch 30s is an amazing little rifle. It has become my rifle of choice even when I have a Mynah to attend to @ 25-30m. I have not lost one yet. 15m Takes a bit more work at 15m but it is "do-able."

    Nick,

    Is there a set of rules for the "cheapies" as to price limits and modifications permitted?
    Pellet types allowed?
