Default Field Target + Range Finding

I see Zeiss is bringing out a new scope with build in laser range finding ie you aim, press a button on the scope, and the distance is displayed at the bottom of the crosshairs, wow! I wonder if this would be legal for FT use, as the rules only state that you are not allowed to use a "seprate device designed for range finding". Have a look at https://secweb1.pipemedia.net/utting.../diarange.html
for more details on the scope. The model is the Zeiss Victory Diarange 3-12x56 T*. 12x magnification might not be much, but if you don't have to use it for range finding ....

Swarovski has had a Scope with a built in laser range finder for the past 7 seven years that I know of. Price was horrendous at the time.

Yes, I remember that one, it looks big & bulky too, kinda like having a huge lead pipe on top of your rifle. Methinks after lugging that thing around in the hunting field all day you'd not care anymore how far what is except some cream for your sore shoulder!

When the Swarovski LRS scope was launched it was R19995 I believe, they had a promotion in the USA when you buy the scope(it was $4995 I think) you got a rifle with it. Very nice but way to bulky
