    Default CZ200 filling problem

    Hi Gurus,
I need help. Currently aquired a new CZ200 and am in love.My main gripe is that it is fitted with a "CZ200 silencer" which I am required to remove each time I refill with the Hills(Huff puff!x!#) The cylinder has a built in gauge and requires removal for each refill. The silencer obstructs the removal. Any simple (probably not) answers?

Skim the silencer if at all possible, otherwise bare with it.

Thanks Dave, got me thinking. I might be able to pare the end of the stock on the inside where the cylinder jams.

What is the size of the grubscrew holding the silencer on the barrel?

I've seen someone use these plastic knurled screw to replace the standard grub screw. then at least you can unscrew it by hand.

These guys stock them and don't mind sending you a few samples for free.

I made a wing-nut screw with Pratleys putty and a screw. It takes 2 seconds to remove the silencer.

Thanks all- problem sorted. 5mm grub replaced with 5x12mm screw. I will touch it up with a bead of pratley to wing-nut it.

A knurled plastic thumb screw would be first prize if anyone out there has one.

If it is the 2-piece stock, I cut the forestock a touch shorter so that it drops away sooner.

I have rethreaded a plastic 6mm number plate bolt to 5mm. Will get a replacement from skiffy. TX200 4 the tip. I managed to get their catalogue.
