    Default Re-filling a PCP.

    Hiya

Probably a silly questions but I'm not sure so ....

Is it okay to have the scuba bottle lying on it's side when you're refilling your PCP?

Also is it viable to weigh your bottle to work out how many fills are left in it?

    hehe...not silly...

perfectly ok to lay the bottle on its side [perhaps not upside down if there is any moisture in the tank]

200bars of air in a 10L bottle weigh very little...I think you are getting confused with CO2...

    cheers

    ta for that guido.

I just made a 'travel holder' for my bottle and it only occured to me tonite that there might be a problem refilling from the holder (bottle on it's side). :>

More confused with LP gas methinx. Taking the bottles to get refilled is no problem, but carting them back round the house afterwards is a pretty hefty workout.

    regards
