    Default Ev2

I would like to hear from the people that use Air-Arms Ev2's,
What are the pro's and con's of the rifle according to you.
The type of accuracy that can be expected at about 50yards
    The consistency between shots.
The price of a new Ev2
I am thinking of maybe buying one in the future.
    Thanx for your input!

pros: ready outta box, built-in FT features, trigger/lock time up there with the best, personally i found it to be more dead. local support/knowledge.

cons: steel barrel and cylinder requires wipe down with oily rag.

it's as accurate/consistent as the shooter can be.

    new i guess around 14-15K, 2nd hand 10-12K?

i agree with urabus the ev is better that i will ever be. it is realy a nice rifle.

the only cons are the steel barrel and air cyclender that need wipe downs after every shoot

I don't own one but I've shot them a bit.

Very accurate, as accurate as an accurate thing.
Tight clovers at 50m if the shooter is up to it.

Only other con is that they're rather heavy. Well I guess that's up to the shooter again. Some people prefer heavy rifles.

8mm groupings have been recorded at 50meters, Hennie shot a few 500/500 bench rest scores with his (Errol's now), unofficially. My personal joice, for sure, due to the fact that it was built with FT in mind, not converted from 10m to suit FT. I don't like race guns though. The blue Steyer is the best looking for me.

Does the EV2 shoot any better than an S400 off the bench?

If the gun fits you, you can not go wrong!!!
    (It is adjustable)
My EV was capable of shooting one ragged hole at 50metres with 10 shots
With exception of the HW100 I have not encountered a more accurate gun

No, I don't think so, but it is damn accurate.. I havenot shot a inaccurate pcp yet, but then I haven't shot them all yet either. I have shot with the EV, Steyer,FWB and the Walther(all race guns) and a few others but I prefer my S400 as it is as accurate and handy as any other rifle, most of all,it looks like a rifle.

And S400 won't leave the same hole in your pocket as an EV2.

So...it looks like a real gun, shoots like a race gun and costs about a quarter of the price.
