    not sure if the q's for me?

    if it is.............the answer is i don't know. i've actually handled that rifle (while getting my hornet done at the time)
    not very comfortable.........as the pull-length, comb height, finger profiles...etc were made for the owner and not me. i know john normally keep a few blanks in the shop (American walnut std grade).

    i'm still not conviced re custom stocks on steyr.........
    imho part of the attraction/idea is the "advangarde"
    high efficiency/adjustability of the stock.........then again they do look good.

    I fully agree Urabus.
    It seems silly to buy a Steyr and then put a non-adjustable wooden stock on it...looks cool though.
    I suppose that if the Steyr action is purchased without a stock this opens up many avenues...anyone interested??
