    Default Trail Cam

Guys I have bought 3 trail cam's to be used on my plot and wherever else I deem it neccesary to compliment my current security in place aswell as monitor what wildlife I have around my house.
The camera is a U-WAY NightTracker NT-50-B.This camera has infrared but not the type that can be spotted via the dull red glow of the IR lens. They call it NO GLOW technology. This is desired at night so that any passer by/criminal cannot spot the camera at night and even game cannot see it.
I tried it last night and had good results for the first time out.I caught my dogs running around at 23hoo where I had set the camera up quite far away from my house.I look forward to all the possibilites that this device can bring. It stores all info on a SD card.I am using a 2GB card but you can use 16GB cards aswell. The camera has various settings. You can choose what MegaPixels from 0.8 up to 8MP.You can choose the amount of pictures to be taken on a burst from 1-9 and the "sleep time" between picture bursts varying from 5seconds to over a minute. It can also do video clips up to a minute long with sound. It comes with a remote/screen that is used to set the camera up in the field and view footage in the field. It runs on 4x "C" batteries but the remote is charged via a USB port.I have bought rechargeable C batteries.
It is well worth the R4000 spent.
I will post pics as soon as I have caught something interesting on film besides my dogs.

Ge Yes trailcam's is good for security and to see what's going on when you are sleeping.

I bought myself one end of last year from a friend that was in the US. Paid R1400 for a Bushnell one.

One of my friends is also using one at his sheep kraal. He has caught one that stole a sheep.

    Is the price R4000.00 each?

I had a look at the Bushnell just yesterday for R 2920.00. I'm also planning on getting one for security and spying on my workers.

Dit lyk of hy oor sy regte skouer terug kyk vir die kamera. Maar soos Cor se goed gecamo.
