Default Zeiss laser range finding scope

I know we've covered this before but I think the cost of scopes with built in laser rangefinders will be the prohibiting factor. They sell for ?1,798.95 in the UK!! !amazed

That is a lot les than 2 years back. 2 years back I wanted to know the price for the same thing but it was R 40 000. But I think it takes al the fun of hunting out of the picture. If you use a scope like that it's more like target shooting than hunting.

And I agree that Price is too much, for that kind of money you can buy a Sako .308 and a normal scope.

Buying a scope like that for airgunning is just silly, but for sniping it makes kind of sense

AirKing snipers use the best and the most reliable equipment and I dont' know how reliable that scope is. What if your batteries go flat in the middle of a mission ? I also don't know if it would survive the knocks and bumps that other scopes can handle.

if it ranges more accurately/consistently, the turrets are dial-in friendly, legal re FT rules........etc and one can afford it............why not?
