    Default confused, please advise

Hey guy,s, I have experienced a little bit of confusion regarding shooting disiplines. basically i,ve often heard the expression "field target" used with reference to knockdown targets, but I was under the impression that knockdown targets were affiliated with "hunter field target". Someone also mentioned to me that " field target" was more difficult and unless I had the finest equipment money could buy and the experience to match the "field target" boys would have me for breakfast. So what is the difference between the two and what shooting positions are allowed for each?

FT and HFT, both use the same knockdown targets. the difference between FT & HFT = the rules/shooting positions/equipment....etc

Got confused a few months back too... all the rules are on http://www.saftaa.co.za

Anyway, not much difference except HFT allows only 12X max mag scope and no hooked rilfle butt and some small things, but you get a point for merely hitting the target (two for knocking it down).....

Would have been nice if we get more HFT courses in PTA/Jhb area (not the springers only one!).......
