    Default Wind chart

I thought this may be of interest not only to the BR and FT shooters but to all who shoot air rifles outdoors

This might a stupid question to those who know, but I'm sure I am not the only one to wonder about this:

Is all barrels right hand twisted?

Are all the known brands of air rifles right hand twisted? (AA, HW, Daystate, etc...)

Thought this could also be helpful to add to the above.

That would all depend on if you are shooting in the northern or Southern hemisphere?

Of course if you are shooting left handed you will have to reverse everything !

I would think the buring question most would want to know is:

How much will the pellet be moved by the wind for my next shot?

The above charts and diagrams are fine for BR and 3p shooting where your target is a static distance.

So for a 8.44 gr pellet at 12 ft/lbs how would you determine how much to aim off for a 52 yard shot, if your first shot in the lane is 1/2 inch left at 25 yards? (You don't know the wind strength or direction, but the wind is constant for both targets)

How do the above diagrams help you work that out?

    cheers
