    Default Benchrest shooting

    Hi Guys,

Been shooting my Air Wolf of the bench rest, and must admit been struggling with it bit.
The centre fire rifles I shoot mainly have stocks designed for bench rest use with nice flat 3in forends etc that allow me to shoot free recoil.
The AW on the other hand has a stock that is not ideal for bench use, been thinking about making some sort of flat forend plate maybe it could be magnetically attached to the air cylinder.
Has anybody tried something similar? Do you think it would be ok to shoot of the air cylinder rather than the little short forend?

Sort of thinking of something along these lines

Any ideas will be most appreciated

    Regards,

    Paul

It's got very little recoil, but the round bottom on the forend lets it twist unless I use quite a firm hold.
POI not a worry as just trying to sort out which power level gives best accuracy etc

    what pellets?
    what velocity?

don't rest it on the airtube

I use the SInclair front cordura sandbag insert...works well for all my air rifles.

Your setup looks good enough and adding the "sandbag" will make it perfect!
Have you tried different size pellets or other brands Paul?

Still collecting different pellets to try
