    Default SLing

In many other shooring disciplines, they use slings for help stabilise the rifle, from my personal experience, that's helps a lot when kneeling/standing. I just wonder why don't you guys (including the top shooter) use a sling? Is there a reason for it?

you can use a sling in FT, i just have not found a confortable position. you may not use a full shooting jacket.

But you don't really need a shooting jacket to keep the sling on the upper most part of the arms, it just makes it a bit easier. The only problem I can think of is that you can't use the same sling for all positions without adjustment (I think not allowed to) but then if it helps standing shots only, it is a bonus anyway.... From the pics I saw, even the guys in Poland world champ weren't using them......

I use a sling in both FT and in Hunting rifle shooting competitions, esspecialy in standing and kneeling with great effect, without re adjusting during shooting.
