    Default Durbanville Shoot

On coming Saturday there will be an expo at the Durbanville shooting club. We had a look at the venue and it is possible to have an 8 lane (16 Targets) FT course set up. There will also be some air rifles and equipment on display. It will be an easy course as to facilitate all air rifles. The 12ft/lb rule will not be imposed as most of our rifles are currently set up for hunting. A chronograph will be available if you want to test your rifle.
With all the one man clubs in the Cape we can have the most clubs represented at a shoot ever in SA.
Andre and Guido will be there from 09h00. I have another competition in the morning, but will be there later with about 10 development shooters all with 200T?s. If you feel like taking them on you are welcome. They shoot for Coke?s.

All you Cape Town guys who are always asking for a shoot - nows your chance. We will also be doing a poll to guage the interest as to the establishment of a permanent club. The venue has already been found. It is now just a matter of seeing if enough people are interested.

We had lots of fun !amazed and I hope that this is the start of big things to come in the Cape Town area.

Well done  and thanks a lot to Andre (Firearm News), Casper and everyone else who made this happening. Looking forward to the next one and offer my services to help out where ever, with the arrangements, as long as I can get a shoot in :shoot: as well.

    Thanks again.

    I concur...
A big thank you to Andre and to Casper for setting up the course. It was a lot of fun and as usual more talking and socialising took place interspersed with some sporadic shooting..
Looking forward to the next one.
Andre took a whole bunch of pics...hopefully he can post them soon.

The freestate gang has fixed its competition dates for leagues & provincials, please see the calender.

23 & 24 April may see all who wants, too participate in a friendly international against Dale and others from UK at Brits. It has not yet been finalized as it clashes with our league dates, but we can be flexible!

How far do you take kentucky windage in a sou'easter?
