    Default my cheap springer

my 2 cheap springers, both industry brand QB36-2 (also named as TECH FORCE 99 in USA market ), under-lever, 1000ft/sec. packed with amazing power and good accuracy. outstanding performance for beginner. my primary backyard sniper rifle at moment.

PS: these airguns are made by the same factory in china who contracted to supply AK series to chinese army.

Not really on topic as such -

I would prefer the Chinese QBZ 97 or even 95 over the AK anyday. Bullpups would fill my collection should I ever be allowed.

yope. it's QB36-2, R720 for brand new is good price. many people judge it by it's price. i been tested with other R3000+ springers, i don't feel they really worth that much if compare with QB-36's overall performance .

quality: nice finish on wood stock, the trigger is not adjustable, but very smooth, automatic double safety. downside: a bit easy to rust in chamber if no oil. without silencer can be very loud.

accurcy: good enough for hunting and go thru a cake can from 100m away is possible.

scope: i use tasco 4-16X40 illuminated

in most of cases i agree with neil .

    but.....

sometime people can get more than what they paid for : AK47 is cheap. some place in the world selling at R300.

sometime people can't get what they paid for : my black power ball revolver R2000+, not even fired 1 shot yet but something broken inside.

no idea the the make of silencer. any 0.22 silencer would work.

Silencers on springers are a waste of money. The action makes more noise than the muzzle ever will.

i don't think 95 or 97 series are good idea.

in fact. 95 series currently have very bad reputation in army .

due to bullpup design. the chamber is too close to face. shooter has to suffering the gunpowder smoke all time and hearing damage is highly possible.

the safty and auto/semi switch is located at far back left end. shooter must use one hand to operat it.

sight aim line is too high and too short.

trigger guard is too big. very easy to get accident discharge.

95 series can't shoot by left handed person. but sometime people must shoot with left hand. ie, wounded or in the urban combat.
