Ok all don't all laugh at once with this weird question.
Sure kevin gonna have a chuckle at this one.

I am interested to know the following specificaly for 25 m br.so here goes
Is there such a thing as an ideal velocity range and ideal weight of a pellet that suits this particular distance .let the laughing begin lol.

Also has anyone done tests with regards to shooting with co2 and what velocities can they achieve. And what shot countts they achieve

    Thanx all

Twiggs, the 25m bench thing works according to power classes which will largely dictate the fps and pellet used and to complicate further even calibre used.
There is no .177 pellet that would be bench accurate at 25m using 30fpe so a bigger calibre comes into play.
This season there's a '12fpe Sporter Class' 25m, non regulated un-modified rifle weighing less than 4.762kg including scope. Then there's Light Varmint 25m max 15fpe and a 'unlimited' class max 30fpe, 50m score and group.
Next season there will be 12fpe LV 25m, 20fpe HV 25m and 30fpe 'unlimited' 25m, all scoring targets. The only 50m class will be 50m group at max 30fpe. (This is not an international class)
But don't quote me, might change overnight

    So you'll have to get pellet/velocity combos for 12fpe, 20fpe and 30fpe.

With the QB you will be able shoot 12fpe LV next year, you could also shoot any other class if you are prepared to compete against highly customised Theobens.
    In short, you'll be outgunned.

Shoot your QB and work on your skills, experiment and learn the ropes, there are NC competitions where people shoot for fun so it's informal, shoot with what you fancy.

Remember, there's FT and Bench being shot in SA, you have choices so check out the scene and let your preferences lead the way when upgrading equipment.

Daystate vs Feoben would be unfair on the Feobens
QB might outshoot a Feoben, just catch the Feoben in a state of plumbing or de-plumbing, timing will be of importance

Derek, Have you paid a visit to Kevin (airvolution) and played with his QB?

That gun scares me, yes it's that accurate.

Eish. How Seff Effriken. Daystate owners are better shots than Theoben owners. So ban the rifle instead of learning to shoot better

Adrian, it's not the Theoben oke's, they at least fiddle and plumb their tractors to stay competitive, the problem lies by those who still deny the existence of trajectories and who have not even discovered the PCP regulator yet.

Bench is greatly dependent on equipment and technology so those old timers believing in wind reading as only means of staying competitive are rapidly falling behind in the game and should soon be completely eliminated by pure process of evolution of the sport.
    It's adapt or die
