Default Help ! S400 and MPR Stock

Is t worth fitting an MPR stock onto my S400, I believe you have to loose the pressure gauge! Is it worth doing this and has anyone of you guys done it yet?

Jason had a S400 in a MPR stock. It was a lot of work to get it to fit from what I have heard.

It looked a bit odd too.The 400 action almost looked as though it was floafing on the stock.

I believe Iaan has 1 as well.

If it is a lot of work to re-fit the rifle, I don't know about it but I shot with a NJR (a brother or sister to the Mamba) fitted into a MPR stock and I think it is a superb idea. So much so that I strongly contemplate retiring the green stock and fit a MPR stock to the rifle. Although I bought the rifle just for the action, I actually always thought that the Green Mamba was the ugliest rifle I have ever laid eye on, after any laminated stock. MPR stocks are all walnut.
    Guido,
That this guy is making extremely nice stocks is a fact, but that they cost as much as a new rifle is also fact.
