Did any airgunner on this form try the Prometheus pellets. I see you can get the PCP1 7.95gr for head sizes 4.46mm and 4.5mm. SPC5 (.20) 12gr. This info is out the Airgun World. How about the Piledriver? Who are the dealers for these pellets?

Target Specialists hve the pile drivers.

The only other Prometheus pellets I have seen are those rubbissh pellets with the plastic skirt.

4.46 soumds a bit on the small sive.

If you do find some let us know what they can do.

The pellets designed for C02 are great and really works well. The Plastic skirted pellets did not work for me and was a total waste of money.
I will report back on the Piledrivers in a week or two, after I'm finished with testing them. For now I can tell you that it is a waste of time using them in sub 14 f/lbs.

From what I have heard, many guns do not work well with pile drivers and neither my cz200 or my Bam will produce groups as well as conventional pellets (I think simmonS did get reasonablly good results from from Bam) and yes, i did try both sizes. Besides, at 15GBP for a box of 125, I might as well shoot .22lr..... did I mention the 2 pellet traps I killed in a week?

Maybe it is the pile driver being too long and not nose heavy like other pellets hence faster rilfing twist needed?

I,ve put plenty promethius pellets through my 22 Webley Hurricane pistol and although I didn,t shoot at any small animals I sure got better paint tin penetration!
Basicly, promethius pellets are designed for hunting and superior penetration. They are essentially a steel pellet with a plastic jacket that seperates on impact.
