Anyone know if there is a procedure or guide to follow when you match or adjust a rifle to suite your body?
Here is some gerneal info
Length of pull: when you grip the stock and touch the trigger, bend the arm 90degrees and the butt plate should touch (or sightly longer for some sitting positions).
Cheek piece: when mounted, the underside of the cheek bone should rest firmly on the top of the cheek piece and you should be able to see image in the scope
balance, using the middle of where your 2 hands would normally hold the rifle, the rifle shouldn't tip to one side
Like they say do one thing at a time..... if it stock fit you, you should be able to see the clear image as soon as you mount the gun.........
There are 2 manuals on there that you can download or print out. The technical skills manual explains positions and other shooting info. The 2nd manual explains how to setup your rifle, scope package. I hope this helps you the way it helped me.
