    Default Walther silencer

    hi all.

i have just finnished the silencer on the walther carbon shroud. with the shoud being a solid. there is plenty of space for the air to expand inside the tube.

my first step was to see where the pellet left the shroud. i put some tape across the opening and shot a pellet. to my serprize it was pretty center. i then placed a washer over opening and tapped it up and removed the tape that covered the hole. i then took a shot and "wow it cut the sound bown by 70%" the biggest noise is the trigger.

i will be testing the accurassy tomorrow, i will let you know what happens.

here are 2 pics so far.

moose i pratlyed it to the action, no it does not shoot off. the barrel is free floating so there is plenty of space for the air to expand.

Allan i am also keen to see how the POI and grouping is, from the 10 shots last night the poi looks still to be good but i will let you know asap.
