Hard tac, high proof... Yeah, I'm sure those pelletsare much harder than lead.
My problem is that the closest lowish-cost metal in weight application after lead is Zinc. But, although zinc is less poisonness when consumed it's still nowhere near eco friendly. So why not carry on using lead for pellets and just working carefully with it?

The 'fireball' looks like a clone of the Gamo versions. None of my 4 rifles seem to like them(the Gamo version)..

    It's funny,
for hundreds of years nobody has tried to reinvent the wheel ...

The traditional "round head" field target used pellet just can't be beaten, it has the best all round ability ! I have shot with others but always fall back to the tried, tested and trusted one.

Yes they tend to "over penetrate", even on longer distances - but a wound channel also doesn't close in a few seconds, in the end the same result will be reached, it might just take 2 seconds longer for your quarry to give it's last kick when using the traditional FT pellet.
Doesn't help you have knockdown power but you miss the target. I don't like "hier en dan daar" performing pellets. I like "hier, weer hier, en nogmaals weer hier" pellets

    Just my R2,50.

i've been using the hollow point (dads toys - canal walk) my rat stopping shots have improved 80%, not many waddle off after being hit by one of these. But R100 for 500 a bit much. anybody know if you still get those "scorpion - hollow points"?

    Bisley Pest CTL suck.
I almost smashed my rifle against tree from the frustration, luckily I decided to try other pellets first.
