Default A new PCP on the market

In the manMagnun of May 2007 on page 68 is an advert of Nicholas Yale with a MECA Precharged Pneumatic Airgun Hunting Master AR5. Does any body have any info?[br][img:width=200&height=63]../../Deadlinks/public/1178301085_120_FT0_meca_ar5_.jpg[/img][br]

Its not a new PCP, its been around since the 80's in fact. The official website is www.evanix.com I posted a thread on these rifles awhile back, just do a search on evanix or AR6. BTW, I would bet that this is MECA's old stock which they are srtuggling to get rid of. I have already spoken to Nicholas. Guido is quite correct in his comments. The only positive thing we could all agree on is the multishop revolving action making them very nice for hunting and the fact that they're very powerful "out the box! See their website for full specs... MECA is selling them for R7350..! Whatsmore, I doubt that you'll find spares or accesories anywhere.

i don't care how bad other comments r... the fact is... from the vids i seen the AR5 took out pests at long range... which means it's working...

btw.... what production .20cal pcp will beat that price?

How much is retail on them ?
The "reviews" I read quote 5-10 "consistent" shots, thats not vely vely good hey.
Looks alot like a S400 or is it just me ?

After my Proton SAVVY experience I really prefer the tried and tested and found to be quality things in life !

come on... b realistic.... at that price nothing really available with pcp in .20 from factory... it also packed with some nice features... such as built-in pressure gauge.... 6 shots cylinder which work with long pellets.. good wood... insane power...

if every single gun shoots perfect out of box... there won't be any tuners anymore... if it has what is takes.. it's good gun... trigger and power curve can be worked... i hav seen people sh%tting on bam from all over the world at beginning... after i got one and played a while... actually it's a nice gun...

it'a all depending what the shooter wanna do... if u look for one of the kind... hard hitting... bigger and better calibre... and wanna spent sometime to imporve it... then it's the gun for u...
