    Default Postal shoot BR25

Hey guys...how about a South African bench rest postal shoot every month?
We would use the BCR25 target and shoot according to those rules.
We would then submit scores as often as we like...best personal monthly score counts.
    see http://www.airguns.net/br_50.html

target can be downloaded here http://users.iafrica.com/g/gu/guidodg/bc25%20target.pdf

you just shoot your targets whenever and wherever you want...then you send a post with your score, gun used, pellet, velocity, scope used etc
The site administrator could possibly make a seperate heading for the postal shoot in the forum.

Great idea11 There is a simmilar system for 10m school shooting. I would like to participate. Benchrest is about all I can do these days with getting on in age and having a tyre around the middle not mentioning having the jitters. Shortage of breath etc. HE HE Chucle Chuckle. On this subject; What size should the target be. A4 or A5, Should you shoot the target once or twice E.G. 500 or 1000 Points?

target is quite large..best to crop the first section off..it fits onto an A4 and you get 20 circles.
You need to shoot 50 for a score out of 500
The large circles should be exactly 1"

Refer Koos Barnard in this months(I think) Magnum. He states that he had to shoot the target twice for 1000 points and it seemed to me that that was the rule. Every time I shot BR it was 500 potetional points on a 3 size paper which I think will make the ring 1'' rule.

Dumb question... Do you place the target at 25yards (i.e 22.86m) or do you assume 1yrd = 1m and place the target at 25m?
