Starting to sound like a shoot out between "die boere and the rooinek's"

Ja Sakkie ek weet ek is 'n outoppie rooinek, but I did read Die Burger yesterday morning. Only news paper I could find in Clanwilliam.

Joe if you remember those Elcaprisco decals.

The hosts of the first HFT interclub shoot were most magnanimous in their victory!
    Well done to ELcaprisco !

Spearheaded by Wynand (57) and Michael (56) the all powerful Elcaprisco PCP machine signed the visitors fate. AAC springer champ Alan was not so far behind with his 97K and a 52.

The average score for the teams follow:
Elcaprisco PCP team (8 in all) averaged 48.875 ; whilst recoil shooters averaged 43.33 (3 shooters).
Atlantic PCP shooters (5) averaged 39.833 and our 6 recoil shooters scored 42 on average.

Thanks to Ilse who ensured an even split of shooters between the two teams and thanks to the guest AAC guys, your efforts were much appreciated.
Newcomers to AAC - the Young and Van der Schyff Dads and sons, acquitted themselves admirably and we will look forward to their support in the future.

Thanks to Joe, Ilse, Ernie and Darryl for constructing an interesting course, it is no easy thing to get up early on a Sunday morning and a vote of thanks is due in full measure to the dedicated Elcaprisco management.

I am sure many present this morning will agree that the level of enthusiasm shown at this contest bodes well for the future of competitive HFT in the region. We will start planning for a return match soon.

Darryl your score was 45 and you beat your Pa by one point.

I did not post all the individual scores as this was a team event but I can do if everyone really wants to know what their contribution was (just say so).
