Okay, so I turned to my TX200 to shoot FT and left the EV2 on the shelf the last couple of shoots. I enjoy shooting the TX200 more and more and learning from past mistakes I shoot more accurate every time.
I figured out an extra trick yesterday at Hippo Creek that increased my accuracy and consistency. That inspired me to compare my PCP FT rifle and springer FT rifle. (pity I only figured it out halfway through the 2nd shoot )
At this point I will say that learning from the TX200 I am of the opinion that my EV is not set up correctly. I am also of the opinion that my EV gives me flyers every now and then. So this test was to compare my ability with my EV2 as it is now and my TX200 as it is now.
The rifles in question:
Rules of the test:
15 consecutive shots, 3 groups of five. (however, I did shoot a 6 shot group with the EV on the last group. I know I pulled one high and wanted to make up for it ) Shot from my FT free style position over 26m. The black dots on my targets are 12mm in diameter. Each shot was shot as accurate as I possibly can (giving my all).
The results from my EV2:

The results from my TX200:

I shoot better springer than PCP
I reckon if I do a re-setup on my EV2 and I apply some of the tricks I've learned on the TX200 I will be more accurate with my EV2. However, some of my shots did fly off in their own direction, so I will need to find what is causing that.
But for now, I'm hooked on my TX200 and will continue to shoot leagues with it.
