    Default s400 loose bolt

Have anyone had their ears ring from a s400 bolt which was not locked in place? Mine is very loose and pops out when hunting, which results in a blowback if I don't pay attention to keep it down.
Is there a quick fix Lious? Thanks.

Replace the O ring with a 2mm one. Better to take your rifle in for a full service at AA.

what about drill a small hole thru the breech and 2 holes in 90 degree in the bolt... and fit a bearing and micro spring...closed up with grab screw...

when bolt open or close it will stay in the place and make a "click" sound....

Lewis, do u have the Manual? On the Parts Illustration, all I see looking like a o-ring is the Loading Bolt Buffer (s650). I that it?

if you pull the bolt back and check just in front of the bolt on the loading shaft you will see the o-ring.
bolt removes with an allenkey, you can also just add another o-ring to solve the problem, or just replace with a 2mm one as said by Lewis
    Very simple to do

Boondock NO! Are you trying to turn it into a BAM?

Just use a thicker o-ring...works perfectly.
No need to even take the bolt off...with some light grease the o-ring can be pushed all along the bolt onto the shaft.

hehe... if leaking air when firing... then go for the better o-ring... if the bolt come out by itself... then need a way to secure it....

actually this thing always worry me when i shoot bolt pcp... i don't wanna let hi pressure to push both pellet and bolt out... well... pellet won't hit the shooter... but bolt does...

Okay so the thicker o-ring pushes the bolt back more from the breech creating more resistance so it does not fly up.
    Thanks, got it now!

in Std setup the bolt is heavy loose, with the thicker o-ring it closes MUCH better.
On my guns I just use 2 o-rings
