    All the above are pellet based pistols.

    Personally I would stay away from the lead ball side of things as I favour accuracy over capacity for IPAS.

    The issue I have seen people experience so far in terms of the lead side of things is that out at the longer distances 15-18m the lead balls start veering off target.

    This is as a result of them being a ball projectile and the inherent inaccuracy at long distance issues that go along with it.

    Airsoft however, provided the pistol has "hop up" functionality (hop up imparts back spin onto the airsoft BB generating lift similar to an airplane wing) they tend to work quite nicely out to the longer distances.

    Please copy and paste the above list, and add to it if I have missed anything (have not included the airsoft pistols as I have not had enough experience with them).
    Hi there Clever ones;
    Blessings from George.
    We are looking to get into the IPAS scene in the new year at our little air rifle club, would appreciate some help from you in the know:
    Is there a preferred supplier for the beginner setup?
    I tried to have a look on the interweb, but yes, IT technology is not my strong point....

    Thanks

    Hi Foennie, club is still a cub, I will have to put up my pistols, ammo and gas up for play to get the first people to play, jus to try and get the ball rolling.
    Will see at a later stage if you still have the targets, by the time I have the funds
