    Default Cheap Pellets?

Anybody know if these pellets are any good? Bought a tin of wadcutters and will test them this weekend. They are apparently a RWS product. Anyways at R24 a tin of 500 it is worth trying it out. Will keep you posted.

Any other pellets you guys use that are any good? but that is not over R50 a tin.

I have been using Gamo Pro Magnum @ R35 and those are pretty good.

And I know you guys will dissagree on the use of Marksman pellets but these are also very accurate, although there are a lot more flyers.

I really don't want to pay a lot of money for shooting in the backyard. Will try Guido's Plegde Wax for lube sometime, sounds like a good cheap alternative to napier.

Another question, is lubricating your pellets worth it?

I've seen those Nobels - nice looking tin. Didn't buy any though, I think they were R35.00 up here. Shop owner told me that olympic champions use them at competitions. Mind you this is the same shop that never heard of Air Arms pellets.

The salesman told me this was the most accurate next to the barracudas they have @ R85 a tin and @ R24 a tin I could not pass them by. I will let you know after the weekend if I could go to the olympics with my springer and the Dynamit Nobels

How are they though? I never got the chance to open the tin. Plenty of crud in the tin, or nice 'n round 'n clean like?

I use those Cheap chinese dome pellets.cant remember what I paid but they where dirt cheap for 2000 pellets. There are a few deformed pellets but I had no hassles with most of them for plinking and even used them for hunting birds successfully

I tested the Dynamit Nobel wadcutters and they proved to be be rubbish, can't do ragged one hole groups like I can with the Gamo Pro Magnums I am using. Spread to about 2" groups at 20m. This pellets should be left alone for 10year olds that want to do some plinking.
