Visited the wife of an old friend in the Eastern Cape and was given three "guns". One air rifle, a Gecado 27, needs to be stripped, some parts will obviously have to be replaced and then the stock refinished and the metal re-blued. Help please on how I can go about the re-blueing.
The second gun is a Webley Mark I which I intend keeping "as is"
The last acquisition is an Enfield Mk III .577 with the Snider breech conversion circa 1860. The metal needs cleaning but I don't want to damage it in any way. Can someone please advise me as to how I go about this.
I also need to thank all the forum members for the wealth of information I've gained from you over the past several months, especially Vincent whose knowledge on the subject of air rifles etc. is without equal.
