Interesting, someone has copied a design by a gunsmith called Stephen Harper here in the UK. A few years ago he came up with a pistol he called the Micro, which used a Brocock air cartridge for its power source. IIRC these pistols were made in .25 calibre and would produce about 6ft.lbs of muzzle energy.

Unfortunately they are now classed as prohibited weapons in the UK as are all other 'air cartridge' guns :rude:

Are CO2's, cartridge guns according to UK law? What about the CO2 kits you get that uses air instead of co2?

    Hi Lewis,

CO2 guns are still legal, it is only "self contained air cartridge guns" that are prohibited.

The system uses a pressure chamber the size of a .38 cartridge case that is filled with high pressure air and is equipped with a dump valve, the pellet is loaded via a cap that screws on to the front of the cartridge. In effect it is like a round of ammunition being loaded into the gun.

I will e-mail you a picture of the system.
