And I thought scoring software would be an app for a dating website.

    The utter disappointment.

The pro stuff is not cheap: http://www.schiesssport-buinger.de/s...coring-Systems

I have seen the BR guys recommend this: http://www.ontargetshooting.com/index.html I have no idea how useful it is for the 3P though.

    Nothing like field testing.

SANSSU hosts the biggest Nationals and a few hours later the scores are available. Neels Rabie has developed a World Class Scoring system right here in South Africa and the system is very affordable also it has withstood the test of time!

Looks cool, but it's Apple-only and this comment in a review is disappointing: "Just make sure to use an official target or the app won't work".

I use it and love it! I use official target for pistol shooting and it is pretty accurate, because it scans with the camera it very quick and can handle up to 20 shots on a target... One hole groups can be added manually as long as you know where they are.
Haven't tested it on "duplicated" official targets but I assume if the scoring line diameters and maybe the black areas are pretty accurate I don't see why it shouldn't work. The list of targets increase on every release and includes our common gamo target.
