Default WPHFTA League Shoot Hosted by AAC Saturday 28th September

Three to go before the finals!

What: A League WPHFTA shoot at Wetton next Saturday morning
Where: Marksman Sports Shooting Club , Corner Bamboesvlei and Plantation Roads Wetton
When: Sight in from 09.00 shoot starts at 10.00
Who: WPHFTA league shooters and anyone else who fancies a try at a league level course

I will be away, so Tony will be leading the shoot and would appreciate a couple of able helpers to set up.
Please contact him for the details.

After a number of wind free shoots the weather forecast for Saturday shows a cool and 20kph breezy morning.
It might just be starting to get a bit tricky as the spring Cape Doctor visits.

Come and join the fun and have a great shoot!

The shoot will be going ahead, judging by the weather forecast there is rain Friday, and a 10% chance of rain Saturday.

May be a little damp so bring mats to shoot from.

If it is really to wet and raining we will set up the course to shoot from undercover.
That call will be made Sat morning with the powers that be.

Looks like the conditions and wind are going to make for a interesting shoot.

Come join us and have some fun.

Thanks to those that have volunteered to come and assist with the set up. I will be at the range 7.30

Thanks to everyone that assisted me this morning.
Thanks Jakkels for posting the scores I really appreciate it.
Judging by the scores it was a fairly challenging course, but at least the weather played ball.
Well done to Moenieb on shooting top score in the springer class on his second shoot.

Zelda also shot well on her second outing and our only lady shooter with her new CZ. Well done and girl power to you.
Michael top PCP yet again. Well done.

Juniors the Strauss boys both shot well as per usual with there PCP rifles, and Aiden our only Junior springer shooter doing well.
Well done chaps keep it up.

Thanks guys for a pleasant morning shooting.
Will upload pics as soon as I can thanks Tony

I had a great time this morning thank you. I finished with the top score but I think I had a fair bit of luck on my side and didn't expect to finish top of the springer class at all. My next challenge is to see if I can keep shooting well consistently.

Congratulations with the first place there Ghost, seems like you got that LGV/scope set up sorted. Wetton can be a challenging place especially with the westerly wind from the side like it was today
