Thanks for the assist, will pplay around this evening.
Crab and I tested the rig last night, it appears the problem lies with the distance that the TX200/Rx must be away from each other. The LED's I had only worked at around 15mm apart for some reason or other. So today I got a new set of LED's from a different supplier, and will try these this evening. Will keep an update on success or defeat.
ps: I paid 10x less for the new LED's than at the place I bought my LED's the 1st time......talk about rip-off!
Fixed these for you.

(I am a janitor there too)
Managed to finish a working one on Friday evening after I had to rebuild it 4 times to get it working reliably.
I can now shoot through it and be 90% certain it will pickup through both of the sensors without going through an enormous effort of lining up the barrel.
When I finally got it working I noticed there isn't a lot of background noise in the data and when a shot is fired it maxed out on volume.
Attached below is a shot string I did , an example of a shot's data and a photo of the setup.
