    Default jasons HFT course

Here’s some pics for those of you that haven’t seen the HFT course at guthries shooting range.

This is the first shot taken from a seat high up in a tree.

A prone shot at a target in the reeds

This shot requires you to find a path through the reeds to hit your target

There are a few of these hides to shoot out of around the course unfortunately when avion refresh and lewis have come they were full of water.

This shot has quite an angle to it cause the target is one the floor and there are also a lot of branches to find a path through

For this shot you can rest on a tree, you shoot at a guinea fowl with a nice small reducer on it.

You cant sit and you cant stand for this shot unless you want to hit a lot of grass so the only option is a very uncomfortable kneeling shot.

This is the sighting range it has stands for 10yards, 20, 30,40 and 50

    And this is 25yards

    Nice pics moose.

Looks alot different in the daytime. I like the sighting range setup aswell.

I never knew that there were hides we couldn't shoot from though.

Is Jason planning a dayshoot anytime soon?

    Hi Moose,Jason,
Nice pics. Looks great so far. For me loose the tree/hide climbing bit. I don't like too much to pass a rifle on to or receive  it from somebody while hanging in a tree or a hide, loaded rifle or not. Please don't change everything just to accommodate me!! haha

gerrie gerrie geriie.... where's the umpff gone??? you not old yet man.... We just very strikt on safety regarding passing guns around. Also i want stands to make it different and to tire you out so when you get to the top your leggs wobble.... jst to add another distraction to our concertration.
but ya, if i get some others thinking the same ill make a plan....

    Boondock,
After having shot Jasson's "night course "and Lewis's "FT course" you will never be the same again, but you will be the better off for it because you will have met two guys that make it their calling to build FT courses that make normal people, like you and me,wake up at night in a cold sweat. Ha ha
