Default best air rifle case I have ever seen

    http://www.stormcase.com/StormCaseSizes/StormiM3300.htm

not cheap but better than anything I have ever seen.

I am not a fan of aluminum cases at all, always prefered high impact plastic.
Pelican cases are good but these are really incredible and will fit an FT rig with a deep section side wheel.

There was a test report on these cases in the Magnum. It looked cool but as you stated expensive.

These cases which Guido has found look awesome.
I just bought a two scoped rifle case from Plano, (www.planomolding.com) for just over a grand. It isn't bad..........a bit floppy really. I wouldn't recommend it for serious transport (like giving it to a French airport to handle!) but in the boot of a car or as storage under the bed it is perfect.

OK, got prices...over 3K , going to have to get one for the EV2 since I cannot transport it in a semi-open case in the Subaru

Gun money for a case, ouch! If I think about it, its two cases or a TX200, Let me think. I,m sure they are nice but I dont need them to be bear resistant and much less do I plan to send my rifle down some rapids impgrin

Stupid question, due to the fact that there are numerous rifle, scope, butt hook, etc configurations, how easy is it to slice the foam without it looking like hell when you're done?

very very simple using a sharp knife...looks perfect, will show you.

and you just buy extra pieces of foam to fit all your rifles...
