Years ago I saw a Gecado model 25 like this (perhaps not as bad).
I asked the owner what had happened and he said his younger brother suffered a severe episode of sibling dislike and smacked his airgun down on the dining room table.
The barrel was angled up like the HW here but the gun still fired and the breech block was OK.
I was not interested in the damage to the table...
The bend at the start of the barrel does not pose an accuracy problem when you are shooting with open sights since your front and rear sight are fixed to the barrel, it is a fact that only the last 25 or 30mm of the barrel needs to be true.
However should the air rifle be scope-able you often run out of verticall adjustment, and a barrel up gun just looks plain wrong.
How long will the straightening last? My brother rested his Hatsan 125 against the wall.... needless to say it fell over busting the scope and bending the barrel. He had it straightened ... but after a few months the bend re appeared, not as pronounced as before... but it was there. Still shoots straight with a scope though, bit difficult without.
