He started shooting in 2007 in the sporter class, moved up to Precision class in 2011 and was awarded his Junior Protea Colours in December 2013 to participate at the 2014 African Shooting Championship. After winning the Youth Qualifier Match in Egypt in February at the ASC, securing the quota place for South Africa, he left for Nanjing on 12 August as member of Team South Africa. On Wednesday he participated in the AR60 event and finished 16th with a score of 602.6. Yesterday he competed in the mixed teams Super Cup with team mate Ivana Babic from Croatia.
