    Default Extreme spread sensitivity

Just a quick question to the knowledgeable or should I say experienced guys on the forum...

What would you say is an acceptable spread in fps in order to stay within an acceptable killzone without noticing much of a change in POI?

I'm not talking about trying to get 5mm ctc groups at a benchrest competition, but rather plinking at FT targets within reasonable ranges, ie 15m - 40m...

I'm basically trying to determine what an acceptable 'sweet spot' will be for my intended purpose of FT-type plinking for my new Benjamin Marauder Pistol. ie: will I notice a massive POI shift at 25m shooting around the 600fps mark with 14.66gr pellets with a 50fps spread across my sweet spot? how about 75fps or 100fps?

just thumb sucking, because your scope height will be the most important factor here.

a 50fps spread (575-625) will result in about 45mm variance in poi at 50m...a bit bigger than the 40mm standard KZ

Also depends on pellet weight. The Marauder pistol is 5.5mm. If you're shooting 16gr pellets, you'll see more of a POI shift than (for example) an 8.4gr 4.5mm pellet.
    With a 4.5mm 8.4gr pellet at 12fpe, I'd say anything within a 25 fps spread is acceptable.
