Default Heavier than 10.2g and equally accurate?

    Hi guys,

At the moment I'm only using the 10.2g JSB pellet for hunting. Is there any other, heavier pellet out there that you recommend for use in a PCP to push up the energy?

I have tried the Crosman 10.5g but they just aren't as accurate in my BAM as the JSB's are...

    Regards
    Braam

Where can I buy them from boondock and at what price? This should increase the fps even more for hunting with my .177 BAM!

I'm planning to take my BAM with on a Hunt in July next to the Limpopo River. She was such a hit at last years Hunt in Elis Ras with the guys! The best thing to do after you have had success with the 30-06 on the bigger game.

These pellets will just allow you to hunt the fowl with more authority.

    H&N Baracuda Extra's and Silverpoints(I think)
    - Ask Farmer for details as he has the H&N Range
Bisley Magnums (if you can still find them)

I've only recently started using the JSB heavies, and damn, I'm impressed.

Dude, you MUST get .20. Gives whole meaning to "more authority".

blankster...you are so right ...I know. I've really been having this internal battle with myself the last few months. On the one hand:

1.I feel I can't justify it to myself to (although I have saved up enough to buy a proper .20,it won't be wise to spend it on another gun at this stage in my life ) over invest in airguns. A solution would be to sell the BAM and all it's kit, ad a bit more money and then replace it with a proper .20. But I just LOVE my BAM. Will be hard to see her go...

    2. I will get the .20 exclusively for hunting purposes, but I don't get enough hunting opportunities in stellenbosch and only go hunting with the 30-06 twice a year (when I would be able to take the airguns with as well).

Then on the other hand: I really really really would love to have a .20.

    Advice then Blankster?

wow! Allan, what kind of fps drop do you get as the grains go up? have you shot them all? eg: My erb send the 8.4 grain pellets at over 1000fps. How will the 21grain behave or should I stick to diabolo shape?

yes. tried them all... the fps will drop obviously when gr go up... but u will have heavier punch at target... jsb still most reliable by far... tested 21gr with stock bam with full striker force...doing around 770fps...

does the extra lead of the driver damage the rifling over time? 770 ait to bad. with that weight it should be pretty accurate if you know how to aim off

JTK do not bother with the Eunjins 16 gr in the S410ERB...accuracy is bad...been there.
