Been working on an Air Arms TX200 to prepare it as a FT rifle.
Bought a James Mitchell stock from Cor a while back. Had to refinish the woodwork and re-polish all aluminium parts as the woodwork was not in good condition and the fittings and a little tacky. Also had to replace a few missing bolts and pins.
The TX200 itself had all internals polished, properly lubed and a Vortek kit fitted. The Vortek kit gave 820 feet per second with JSB 8.44 pellets here in Cape Town, a slight modification to the spring has the rifle now shooting at 780 feet per second.
Scope is a Bushnell Elite 8-32x40 AO mounted on an AirForce tri-rail and BKL mounts.
I am happy with the way it turned out and look forward to spending time with this rifle.
