    Default Gamo TS10 Grouping

What sort of groupings do you guys get with these pellets? I can't get decent groupings with these pellets and yes I know I should not be shooting these heavies with a springer. I get good groupings with the Pro Magnums. I use these because they are cheap and accurate, but would like something heavier that is not much more expensive and still give decent groupings.

The TS-10 pellets have much more hitting power than the light Pro Magnums and drops ferral pigeons much easier if you can hit them. I much rather shoot the lightweight and be sure of my shot than a hard hitting miss.

What is your opinion on this?

I also cannot get the TS10s to group.
I find that some are tight and some are loose in the barrel.
You should really stick to ProMagnums or JSBs in your springer.
Springers give out more ft/lbs with lighter pellets.
Heavy pellets will also weaken or even damage the internals eventually

I also find some fit nicely and others struggle to go in. I don't know what they do at higher powers though? Anybody that have had some luck with these heavies?

They are good in my AA 410 only up to 30 m. After this the grouping opens up drastically. Under 30m 20mm grouping, 35m 50mm+ grouping.

Ya i also find them to group at 30 meters... from there, it sucks. I had a gunpower that i had to test, and i tried a bunch of different pellets in it, and found the TS-10's to be the only one that group on the high power setting... odd...

The Talons love the Dae Sung heavies in .177 [16 grains] as do the BAMS.
Shot a BAM today with the Dae SUngs at 850fps for 25ft/lbs.

Was that the BAM 51? how is the fit? I have only held the BAM 50 and it feels good. Who in Cape Town stocks the BAM 51 so that I can go and have a look.

tried the dae sung .177 in the BAM
    850 fps for 25.6ft\lbs
can probably cranck it up to 900 or more

I cant believe no one has cottoned on to these pellets here in SA where we are limited by calibre size.

No Urabus but I will order more..I will sell them for R60\tin to make it worth my while.
Otherwise you can order direct from Mac1 but small quantities carry a heavy transport fee per tin disadvantage.

was just thinkin, i heard u gotta set ur barrel in to a certain pellet( say 500 pellets) so once that pellet has been set in shouldnt you keep shooting that pellet or is it possible to "Reset" the barrel onto a different pellet?

    Hi Guys,
Been shooting the TS10's in both my Chinese barrels and both produce 3 shot one hole (sorry Garrief, ragged one hole groups) at 40m if I do my bit, velocity is +- 1005fps.
When shooting feral pigeons and othe doves on a dairy farm a few weeks back. Of the four guns that were shooting three were using TS10's. A BSA high power hornet, a Falcon and my PCP conversion. we consistently scored on shot kills at upto 80 yards.

Don't forget all barrels are different and have their likes/ dislikes.
