I have replaced 3 springs in 6000 shots. Is this normal?

hey Murtu. apparently for gamo springs yes Order a spring from Maccari in the states. You may need to turn a new tophat and put some heatshrink on the guide to make it fit snug but it will smooth things out and last substantialy longer. The spring also isnt that pricey. Probably about the same as what you would pay here for a gamo.

Not normal at all. You should be on your 6th spring by now.

I aggree with Allan. We joke but pellet weight is a killer. lightest 7.5gr heaviest in the late 8's lighter or heavier will kill the spring

The only pellets that I have used is Gamo Pro Match wadcutters.

they are a bit light. shoot the pro hunters if you must go gamo. else use aa-field or jsb-exact if you want to use the best

np. i bet though that if you use in the 8grians your spring will more than double it's life. also the cf30 has a very heavy tophat. leaning towards heavier pellets. so those wadcutters probably kills your springs
