1st and only pcp you will ever need: 200 or 400 AA the way to go! I suppose it depends what you wanna do. FT then 200 or 400. hunt then get 410 in erb format

capeads for the cheap springer. if you can go the extra then get a 400 you will not be disappointed. if not the 200 is a great compromise. If you wanna FT dont settle for anything else.

I dont know what you want with a cheap and nasty springer, but cash crusaders sells them for about that price. (Reggretably my first ever air rife)

Having just bought an S400 for FT, I can more than vouch for its acuracy!

    triger happy.First pcp.

Be realistic with what you want to spend.

    TRY BEFORE YOU BUY !!!!!!

The 200 is nice for a smaller built guy.The 400 if way better for big guys.

BSA Scorpion is ok buy after sales service in SA is bad.

FX pcp are a lot of cash and offer little over the s400 for FT

Wheirauch HW100 is a high quality solid gun.Bit heavy.Available in 12 ft/lb and high power.

Best backup currently is on th AA range of guns.

If you want a race gun and have the cash to spend EV2, Walther Dommie and Steyr LG110 are all superb guns .

Man that depends.. you will not get a 400 and FT scope for that. You may get a 200 and ZOS for that which will do.

It is almost enough for an S400. My suggestionis, save a littlebit longer, and buy the S400. I went the same route.

I started of buying an S200, and was so impressed with it's accuracy, but the size of it was a bit small to my liking. Then I shot with an S400 for the first time, and oh my goodness, it was love at first touch. In my oppinion, no comparisson, The S200, is built for kids, and in that respect, it is unrivaled. The S400, on the other hand, is excellent falue for money (the best there is), and built for addults. It also feels like a real rifle, and have the quality and finnish to go with it. In my oppinion, the most beautifull PCP that there is. The accuracy, is legendary, and it ranks among the best.

Due to stupidity, I sold my first S400, and regret it ever since. I was lucky enough to win another one, at last years SA Benchrest championship, and would never part with it again. (Thanks Air Arms South Africa, for the sponsor)

If you learn to shoot within the sweet spot area of your S400, then you can compete with any racegun, there is. It's been proven! Even a good second hand one, is better than a S200. You should get one at around R 5000.00 - R 6000.00
