    Default air travel with pcp's

    hi all,

    just wanna find out.......

what do i need to do, if any? to prep my hornet for my trip to DBN? should i dump all the air out? or is't better to keep some in (just not fully charged)? if so, what pressure are we talking about it here?

    thanks

Should have any problems. S400 flew down to CT fully charged. Best would be to have it at about half, so if filled to 190bar then have it at about 100 bar, rather safe than sorry.

    Hi guys,

In the past the major airlines have expected the rifles to be fully discharged of air. For the few hours involved in the flight it will not harm the rifle and would prevent any awkward situations arising if customs decide to examine your rifle.

On this subject Neilg's Pro-Target was transported all the way from the UK to SA in a fully discharged state and does not seem to have suffered any detrimental effects.
