    Default BAM B50 first impression

while u boys waiting for B51, i have no problem to accept a B50. hehe... coz i shoot with left hand anyway. i will convert it to a .20 later.

first impression: wooden finish is ok but not excellent. trigger pull is very nice. so much batter than talon's trigger. very smooth and light.

    accuracy is pretty good.

    package incl : rifle/filler with big meter/hawk mount/4x32 scope/500 pellets/ excluding that see-thru silencer.

    Nice Boondock!

How does the engineering of the rifle come across? Like cocking the bolt etc? Everything silky and solid or a bit wobbly?

How much did you pay in the end if I may ask?

the design is bullet proof...........they've even kept the same trigger in the X2. but it's a copy and like anything mass produced in china, quality control is an issue. it might be rough around the edges, but after some DIY polish/lube...etc it gets a lot better.
    it's accurate too.

hasn't get chance to shoot other pcp yet. so i can only compare it with my talon.

cocking the bolt need bit strength maybe becoz it's new. rifle is quite solid built. stock finish is not great. no need to strip air tank to refill. the whole thing is typic chinese production: simple and effective.

shoots great and hard. cost not even half of talon.

yeah might get better after a couple thousand of pellets, or the TLC urabus mentioned.

Now what is the difference between the 50 and 51? Mag system?

There's a liquid in the guage, it's the cheapest way to dampen the needle so it doesn't flick all over the place when you start to fill. I've got exactly the same filler adapter. (Not to say the guage is cheap though - even my imported hydraulic testing equiment has liquid in it).

    Nice Bondock,

Try the woodchucks silencer in 32mm two or three baffle. The only draw back is you will not be able to see the pellets leave the muzzel like with you current silencer.
The gun is hard to cock because it is a powerful gun with a strong spring. Drop me a mail and I will give you some maintenance tips and also some tuning tips on the trigger, the instruction booklet is worse than useless.
Avion, diff between the 50/ 51 is the 51 is a thumb hole stock.
Will shortly be able to offer a proper bolt handle for the BAM, the goose neck that is standard is a bit difficlt to work with, with some scopes etc.

Just seen the pic of the dive tank adaptor, the fluid is Glycerin, it helps prevent shock damage to your borden tube from sudden air pressure loads, and I made it like that to give you longer life on your gauge (clever me!! just kidding)
